Settings tab – Keeper Tax Customers

The Settings tab is where key Keeper controls are located. From linking bank accounts to editing your tax profile, or updating your email address and phone number. You can do it all from here.

Linked accounts

Link your bank accounts from the Settings tab. Simply tap on "Link an account." Once you link your account(s) our system will begin finding business write-offs.

You can even control whether or not a specific account is used for work, personal, or both. You can remove an account from here, too.

We partner with Plaid to connect your accounts. By connecting through Plaid we do not have access to your personal information.

We're only able to see purchases from your linked accounts. And that's to find business write-offs that put more savings in your pocket.

Upload or access tax forms

Easily access the "File Taxes" tab from here. This is where you can upload or access your tax forms.

Refer a friend

Your referral link is located here to send to family and friends.

Export your write-offs

You can request a copy of your write-offs emailed to you in seconds! Your export includes:

Please check your spam or junk folder should you not see it in your inbox. We've seen some of our customers receive it there.

Edit your tax profile

This is where you can edit the type of work you do. Don't worry if you can't find an exact match. Try your best.
	Keeper uses this information to help calculate your savings, and to predict which expenses qualify as a write-off.
Adjust the slider buttons to the value that best represents the percentage of time your vehicle, phone, home, and/or public transportation is used for 1099 work. For example, if you drive six hours each week, and three hours is for work, adjust the slider to 50%. These values can be changed at any time.
	Under Income & personal details, you can set your: Tax filing status State Expected 1099 income (annual) W-2 (employee) income

Our Tax University can be accessed from here where you can learn about all things taxes without the jargon.

Anything from the home office deduction, LLCs, and even advertising write-offs.

Profile & membership

Messaging Preferences is where you can choose: App notifications SMS messaging No notifications
Under profile details you can update: Email Phone number First and last name
You can contact us straight from the Keeper app.
